L&M | Birthday Celebrations

The girls turned Three on Sunday.  Yup, you heard right.  THREE!  Time has been moving way to fast and sometimes I wish I could just press the pause button on this thing we call life.  We decided to do things a little more low key this year and not throw the girls a birthday party.  Instead, we stretched out an entire weekend of celebrations including a day at Disneyland.

Friday, Papa and Gawa treated us to dinner at Ruby's Diner.  The girls were most excited about the free ice cream.

There was a car show happening right outside the diner.  Mia wanted to see the red car.  As we were taking her picture, the owner came up and let her sit inside.

Saturday, we celebrated Lola Mommy's 80th Birthday.
How lucky are these girls to have a great grandma!?!

Sunday was the big day!  These girls have been talking about going to Disneyland since the day we told them we were going.  Saturday evening was full of anticipation.  The girls wouldn't go to bed.  I told them we couldn't go unless they went to sleep.  When the sky wakes up, then we'll go.  So, the next morning, Mia woke up and yelled, "Momma, I sleeped!  We go Disneyland now?"  Yes, dear.

Who knew a day at Disney would be a total body workout with these two?
Yes folks, that outfit was on purpose.  But he's still handsome as ever.

We weren't alone on this adventure.  I've gotta tell ya, having a big family is truly one of life's blessings.

We almost traumatized  the kids by going on Pinocchio first.  I forgot how scary those Fantasy Land rides could be.  We eventually made our way to a couple more rides.
Mia loved Toon Town

Lily, not so much
Mia eventually sacked out too.
We even got to meet some fun characters

She was a little star truck
Future Jedi in training

Our crew got bigger as more family showed up.

Silly faces get me everytime

Of course, Disneyland is not complete without watching at least one  parade.

We had an AMAZING time celebrating these two loves of my life.  The girls can't stop talking about going back.  We may have to cave and get some passes.  Crossing my fingers that we actually do.
Till next time...

<3, Angela
