Last week, we got dolled up ready to take our Valentine's Day pictures. Candy was involved to get these girls to stand together but, it also meant that they would be putting their game faces on. Zero smiles this go around. They were so focused on chewing their skittles in hopes that they would get just one more. Mia: "peeze (please)" Ok. Why not?
It was warm outside and popsicles seemed like a good idea. Unfortunately, there was only one left, which meant that they had to share. I was actually kind of worried how this might pan out. Leave it up to these girls to surprise the heck out of their momma.
Lily wanted to hold the popsicle and thankfully Mia was ok to let her do it.
As long as she got to hold the popsicle, Lily was willing to share.
And share...
And share some more...
They were best friends that day, sharing a popsicle in the warm sun. No tears were shed because there was only one. No fuss because they had to share. Mia understood Lily's need to want to be the keeper of the popsicle and Lily knew her duties as the keeper was to make sure that Mia got her fair share.
Love is always in the air when these two are around.
