New Beginnings

We bought a home!  

Can you believe it?  Because the thought of being a homeowner has not completely sunk in just yet.  On March 20th, the first day of spring, the never ending list of to dos finally began.  Talk about spring cleaning.  We've really got our work cut out for us.  So many plans.  So many ideas.  

Where do we begin?

I love the front door.  The wood is beautiful and I just love the glass which really helps bring in the light.

The girls wanted to help take the sign down.

Mia had no problem getting down and dirty.  Look at that face! 

Earlier today, Koko went in and started tearing the ceiling out as well as the paneling on the walls.

Underneath the paneling were two layers of wall paper.  Really, really old wallpaper. 

And that's just the beginning.  Kurt gave me full reign on choosing colors and decor and I am going to take full advantage of that power.  There is a lot of work to be done.  Whether it be now or somewhere down the road.  God has blessed us with a place to call our home with an arsenal of people who are willing to help us out.  God is good!
