Weekend Wrap-Up

Time has really gotten the best of me and I feel like these weekend wrap-ups can very soon turn into monthly shenanigans. I promise to do my best to not let it come to that.

Anyway,  our beautiful winter weather had us bringing out the kiddie pool.  Mia couldn't wait to dip her feet in the pool.  Who could blame her?  It was a billion degrees outside.  Ok.  Maybe more like 90.

Cousin Nate came by and hopped in the pool.  Funny thing about these two.  Two months apart and these two look more like twins than Lily and Mia.  It has been mistaken before when all three have been sitting together.

Lily wasn't in the water play mood.  She sat on the sidelines hoping not to get splashed.

Sunday was just as hot if not hotter.  Auntie and Uncle came by and that meant some crazy fun.  Mia especially loves it when Uncle Erick gives her a ride around the lawn.

As soon as it's over, Mia always says, "Mo? Mo?"  (more)

Waterbreak!!!

They love their Auntie and Uncle.

It was a perfect day (for Lily) to eat outside.

The rest of day was spent running errands around town with a little side trip to Urgent Care.  Mia has a tendency to hold her poop in and the constant mini-poops she manages to squeeze out of her butt has created a really bad diaper rash.  As a mom, fear always seems to get the best of you.  And after two hours sitting in the waiting room, we managed to see a doctor for five minutes to let me know that I should keep doing what I am doing.  Right on.  Thanks for that.  At least it wasn't some weird bacterial infection that required some medication.  Bright side in wasting two hours of my life.

She holds on for dear life trying to squeeze the poop back in.  There is always that sense of relief once it has been accomplished.

As a special treat, we stopped for some fro-yo.

If this is winter weather, I can only imagine what summer is going to feel like.

With Love,
Angela
