As a start to the holiday weekend, we braved it out and headed for the beach. What started out as gloomy skies ended up being a bright sunny afternoon. The last time the girls set foot on a beach was almost a year ago in Hawaii. It was funny to watch these two acclimate to a new environment. At first, they didn't even want to walk on the sand. They were perfectly happy sitting on their little chairs eating their snacks. Eventually, building sand castles were the "it" thing to do.
Love this picture of Mia and Auntie Ka-Wee
Definitely needed to stop for some frozen yogurt on the way home.
Saturday was the 4th of July and these girls couldn't be anymore patriotic.
We headed over to Kurt's cousin's house for their annual block party.
All I wanted was to take my annual 4th of July picture with these girls. I'm telling you, it's not easy trying to wrangle up two two-year-olds. geez girls. Just say C H E E S E!
Can you believe the difference a year makes!?! I'm pretty sure these girls may be taller than me in next year's photo! Stop Growing!
We hope you enjoyed your weekend. Till next time...
With love,
Angela
