Another Week's End

These days just keep flying by and as much as I look forward to the weekend, I must say that most of the happiest moments happen during the regular hustle and bustle of the week.  Lily and Mia have adjusted pretty well to our daily routine.  We try not to veer away from the normal day to day happenings which has helped when it comes to managing these two.

Bedtime has been the easiest it has been since these girls were just little babies.  They lay in their beds, I hand them their bottles and kiss them goodnight.  With the exception of one night this week when Kurt and I thought the girls were asleep.  We were cleaning up the kitchen and all of a sudden we see a head peak out of our bedroom door.  It was Lily.  She saw us and ran back to bed.  We thought that was in until half an hour later, I walk back to our room and there are the two girls, laying in our bed watching TV.  What little sneaks!
Anyway... here are a few pictures to unload on your fabulous Friday.

We ( I ) can't help taking goofy selfies with these two.  Even if it's a photobomb.  Ha ha

I don't know what it is about this phone, but she takes it everywhere she goes.  Even if it happens to be in the middle of the night trying to find her way to our room.
Is this a precursor to what her teenage years are going to be like?

This week, we had a little taste of what the rainy weather would be feel like.  Although it was still warm and muggy, hence the outfits, the girls couldn't get enough of everything being "wet"

"Mama's car wet.  its wa-yer"

Bath time doesn't always go so smoothly.  We've had to switch up our schedule and do bath time when we get home rather than before bedtime because when this little one is ready for bed, she's ready for bed.  There is nothing she wants more than to lay down with a blanket and fall asleep.

Little Big Sis trying to get her sister to give her some love.

School has been going so well for these two.  Every morning Mia asks, "schoo Mama? Gawa's house?"  She loves going to both.  These girls come home with so much energy and always babble about "schoo, and fweinds, and play"

Spending time with Gawa on occasion means Park Day.  They love, love, love the park.
"Hey Lily, quit doing that... stop it... do you want to sit by yourself?"  Pretty much how most evenings go with these two as I am trying to make dinner.  They both decided to call my bluff and sit themselves over to their time-out corner.  Although, I don't call it that, they just know that sometimes they have to go sit by themselves if they are not listening.  So much for that.

How can you ever get upset with those faces smiling back at you?
