Lily will always be my petite mini me. She is tiny and sweet and when you catch her in the right mood, she is downright funny. Total goofball. Her high pitch screams and laughs are contagious. You can't help but want to join in on the fun she is having. She is still a picky eater, but not as picky as she used to be. If she could snack all day long, she would. Pretzels are her favorite. I even caught her grabbing the bag out of the pantry ready to go to town. She is literally at the pantry as I type this sneaking away with a bag of pretzels. Her other favorites are: Cereal and milk, Greek yogurt, mac and cheese, french fries, banana, chips and her milk. She eats like a savage. I've tried reintroducing the spoon and fork over and over again, yet somehow her hands find her way to the plate and into the mouth. At this point, I'm not picky on how she eats as long as she's eating. Her vocabulary isn't as advanced as her sisters. She has the basic momma, dada and no. Tantrums usually ensue when she can't figure out a way to communicate. I've learned to just have her take me by the hand and show me what she wants. Nine times out of ten she either wants pretzels or milk. Her anxiety around others is still there. She loves her bath time and running around naked. She gives me kisses on the lips and does it with a huge smile.
Mia is heading full force into toddler mode. She basically eats anything you give her and then some. She definitely loves to entertain. She laughs at anything and loves to make you laugh as well. This girl loves her TV. She is my most affectionate one. She loves giving me hugs and kisses. Her appetite is never ending. Very rarely will she ever turn down a snack. Pretzels, goldfish, crackers, chicken, Greek yogurt, fruit squeezes, peanut butter, tuna and chips are among the favorites. She is super animated and loves to mimic what you are doing. Especially talking on the phone. Now, I know I don't talk on the phone very much so I'm not sure exactly who she is trying to imitate. She holds the phone up to her ear and says "ello. Oh yo yo yo...." It's the cutest thing. I usually try to call up Auntie Karley or my mom just so she has someone responding to her. A few other words she has been saying are: "up," "go" & "Ted" That's the dog.
Another favorite in this house is the movie Frozen. Or "Go" as they and by they I mean Mia, like to call it. I even tried putting on the Little Mermaid just to change things up. But nope. Lily handed me the Frozen DVD with her little grunt and I knew the battle was lost. Mia likes to stand on the table when Elsa sings "Let it Go" and she throws her hands back at the part when she is going up the staircase and says, "GOOOOOOO". I will put on the movie every time just so I can watch her do it.
