What Day Is It?

I feel like the days and weeks have blended together and it is impossible to keep up with time.  I wake up in the morning and have to do a double take on my phone to figure out what day it is.  The girls were recently fighting off colds and being homebound absolutely sucks.  So, it was nice to be able to get out of the house this weekend.

On Saturday, we ventured out to the very crowded Schabarum Park for the Cherry Blossom Festival and met up with some family.

These girls always put their game faces on before getting in the car.

The park had beautiful Cherry Blossom Trees lining the walk way.

Snack Queen always knows where the party's at!
Go ahead girl, kick your feet up.

I knew that Mia loved strawberries, but I had no clue as to how far that affection went until she ate all of her cousin Nate's.

She would take a strawberry and sit all by herself then come back for another.  She ate all of the strawberries.  I don't think poor Nate got to eat a single one.

Obviously, we had to find our way to the playground equipment.

Mia, my adventurous one, spent most of her time at the very top.
Lily was okay staying low to the ground.
As fun as it was, it was also hot.  Mia wouldn't leave the playground without a fight.  Crying, screaming and throwing herself on the ground type of tantrum.  It was a fun sight to see (sarcasm).  She got over it, but not after a couple of attempts to sneak back to the playground.  She's determined.  I'll give her that.
