Holiday Traditions

The Christmas season is finally here and I couldn't be more excited.  It will be our first Christmas celebrating as a family of four in our new home.  I can already tell that this year will be super fun with the little ladies.  On our drive home in the evenings, they see all the pretty lights and each and every house is "so pwetty"  or "so boo-tyful".  I love seeing all the excitement in these two.

On Saturday, we ventured out for a "real" Christmas tree.  Growing up, we always had a fake tree and when we lived in the apartment, we had to settle for a little 3 foot Charlie Brown tree.  This year, anything bigger than that would suffice.  We headed to Home Depot to pick one out.

Daddy's little helpers.

Mia kept saying, "Bigger!"  I'm pretty sure she was imitating me.
Lily couldn't help hugging the trees.
We finally found the prefect tree along with two little elves.

Decorating with these two was as difficult as I imagined.  They did pretty well with leaving the ornaments on the tree once they were hung.

The biggest challenge will be not touching the presents underneath the tree.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.
With love,
Angela
