Happy {belated} New Year

It is hard to believe that a year has already gone by since I have started this blog.  My goal was to document life's precious moments with Lily and Mia so that I would be able to look back and never forget the fun times with these two.  As you can see, I took a little holiday break from writing, but I'm back on track now.

Christmas cards were sent this year and the impromptu photo session with Kat Riley was one for the books.  She did an amazing job considering Lily cried almost the entire time.

Mia was loving the camera.  She did everything that was asked of her.

 I'm telling you, she loves the camera.

Michelle and I bravely set out with all four kids to the OC Winterfest.  

The highlight of the trip was the vendor with the bubble gun.

Nothing like pizza and rides at Chuckee Cheese to get them ready for a nap.

L&M experienced another first.  SNOW!!!  We were very fortunate to be able to tag along with great company and head up to Idyllwild.  The drive up was smooth and the weather was clear.  We arrived at the cabin and the kids were ready to get cozy by the fire.

A couple of hours after we arrived, it started snowing.  

 She was hoping to catch some snowflakes.

Sledding didn't last long that first day because it really started to come down.

Nothing like hot cocoa to warm up your insides.

I just love the little red noses.

The kids were all super excited when Uncle Wo-wen went outside to bring in some fresh snow to eat.

The next day was beautiful.  Fresh snow with bright blue skies.

Mia is definitely my adventurous one.

And guess who is not...

But of course, whatever sister does, she must also do.
